Actually, that's not true. That's what Tesla and Musk have been saying for years, but the numbers don't lie. The autopilot accident rates are higher than human drivers based on miles driven.

Tesla's own numbers show Autopilot has higher crash rate than human drivers

Look into the capabilities of the new "internet" being rolled out (5G). It will allow for real time communication between vehicles.

They haven't said it yet but eventually you won't be able to drive your cars either as you'll be seen as a danger to the autonomous grid.

Yes... laugh all you (everyone) want. Eventually driving will be illegal or severely limited.

Notice how the more technology we have, the less freedoms we have.

Yes it was. I'm sitting in one of GM's plants right now looking at a system that is 100. % self driving and been in use for almost 10 years.
Sure it's inside, but there is no reason it could not be used outside on days it's not snowing.

Hey I am so ready for self driving trucks the ag world has had it for years now and has made it so much more productive it wont eliminate drivers it will just be another tool to use someone has to watch the truck strap the loads fill it with fuel check tires lights and so on and in the ag world at the end of the day you are not wore out from mental stimulation watching and paying attention it will be the same with trucks

They won't need sensors in the roads, they will have satellites beaming down routes for the vehicles to take.

If you can't see the difference in a tractor in a field going 5 mph and a truck going down the road at 65 with cars a foot away, you should not ever, and I mean not freaking ever in your life, drive on the roads.

I have been driving for about 13 years as a oo and no tickets or points and yes there is alot of risk even driving a truck and if you think I'm just going to jump in the first self driving truck you are stupid but Tesla has started it and it will come and if you dont see the future you will not make it in business there is more than just today if you wish to expand and if you think you can kick it in auto steer and go take a nap you are the one who will kill someone its coming to make your life easier as a tool so you can pay more attention to what is going on around your vehicle and we wont see it for over 10 or maybe even 20 more years at the earliest

But you and I know nobody can leave the phone alone even now, you tell them the truck will do most of the driving they just have to take over if the computer ####s itself and they won't be able to. I dont see it working, I see accidents going up with them and it ruining the first few companies that actually go full bore on it. It may work 99% of the time, there's what 6 million trucks on the road, what's 1% of that, a #### load of lawsuits is what my math comes up with.

Oh its going to #### up it's a tool or driving Aid like lane assist that keeps you from drifting into another lane but I still would like to have it after a few years and the bugs get worked out it will make your day less stressful but that's all it wont take over the drivers job so no cell phone movies magazines or anything thing else
