I received a 14 hour violation, but there’s only one problem.........

Second time I have had to compare my daughter today. That's sad.

Even my 13 year old daughter knows the world isn't fair. Just because her teacher gets away with running down the hall at school doesn't mean she can.

Look, you got a valid citation. Everything else us simply an excuse to try to make yourself feel better.

To answer your question, in several states it’s illegal to drive with your park lights on without the headlights on. And yes they do write it.

 

Not me. My trainee. I know what you’re thinking. Sure, it was your trainee. If it was me, I would have just said so. It would not be the first time I’ve posted getting a violation on this site. I’ve trained 9 students over-the-road and must admit I’ve seen some injustice. At the time, I didn’t know how to handle the officer who gave my trainee a violation. Sometimes experience can help you avoid violations/citations.

Just because they are in positions of authority doesn’t mean they cannot get in trouble or be prosecuted.

One of these days I’m going to compile this data on officers and send them to their departments and share them to the world, so they too get in line. They are supposed to follow the laws as well (with certain exceptions, of course). It’s time we, the people, shine a light on their hypocrisy and criminality.

 

It’s as if you read my comment #49, and all you remember is violation and headlights not on. The context is important.

I am not debating what the law says at all. Again, that was never the point or the reason why I brought it up. The point was the officer said he stopped my trainee because he thought the headlights were not working. I remember hearing this while on the passenger seat, so I got off the truck and realized the lights were not on.

 

You have the two headlights to meet Green Book DOT rules drawing by pictures.

Markers as long you have one in the correct aspect (Location) you are ok. Two and three or 1000 chicken LED's in the right colors simply dazzle the DOT man.

 

And I’m not debating at all and I did remember all you stated. It’s as if you forgot you asked a question. You asked a question even if you did not use a question mark, and I provided one possible answer.

 

I actually have one on for purposes of carry concealed. been working on allowing the thing to upload or stream to my home computer constantly by it's IP Address and subnet. There is a hard drive array collecting the data, (video) as we go. when it is in use. So whatever happens to the device itself does not really matter anymore. The videos are captured and held in my control to be used if needed.

 

You must be confusing me with someone else. I never made a question about this (comment #49). It was just a report to a certain member. Now if you think I implied it as a question, then I am telling you right now that I did not intend it as a question. It sounds like you were writing your comment, and along the way you messed up, and then proceeded to rationalize it instead of just discarding it.
