Hey everyone just worked my first day ever in the industry and I had the same problem most people had with not wanting to be OTR as a rookie I was originally signed up with Western Express I had about 2 days to go before heading out to orientation until I found out about Universal they have a 5 week training program at $15 an hour off weekends and home 2-3 weekdays my first load was Houston to Dallas spent the night in Dallas doing some moves here and heading back to Houston so far I’m loving it so if you’re in Houston and a rookie and don’t want to go OTR you should definitely give them a call!
