That 62 is with making all your bonuses plus the 5 cent per mile for doing a hazmat. I gross about $1500-$1600 a week which is including detention pay.

Was going to say, seemed a little high for net. That's LTL money.

Wow. They didn't make you get a DOT card before everything started? We had to be drug tested, DOT med card, and permit in hand before day one of class. I'm sure you'll do just fine with everything.

Nateman482 and Metal cowboy Thank this.

Welcome! I've probably got some of the least experience out of the active posters here but I've been with Magnum for three years and am always willing to help where I can!

At .43cpm before bonuses what should I expect to gross realistically? Can i hit $1,200 per week?

You will if you can turn 3000 miles a week. Completely doable.

Metal cowboy, Zata40 and Nateman482 Thank this.

At .043 and averaging 2500 a week your talking $1075 gross. Add your bonuses and miles over 2500 and your easily at $1200.
If you only get 2575 miles a week you will be at $1204 gross a week...before bonuses......
But don’t set yourself up for disappointment and EXPECT 3000 miles a week.... you will have weeks well over that and weeks well under.. think long term...

I don’t work at Magnum anymore... but my last 4 weeks where I am now at was 2400, 3600, 1600, 3700 home weekends and sometimes a night during the week... one week I had 3 days off... another was 34 hrs... I budget on 2400... which is closer to my average usually. I don’t budget on 3700 cause I can get that sometimes.... (miles that is)

Metal cowboy, Nateman482 and Winnyf1 Thank this.

I made about $2500 a month pre-tax at my old job (sales person at Verizon)... hard to imagine how much more money I'm gonna be making. Gonna pay off a LOT of debt really quickly.

    Metal cowboy Thanks this.

Keep in mind freight slows down during the winter typically. Refrigerated loads might weather the storm better than the rest. Economy is also slow right now, so in turn, so is freight.

The last 6 weeks I’ve never run harder than I have here before. Always running up against my 70.
