I don't understand why or how

The writings on the wall..the dummies are making more dummies. Smart people need to make more offspring. This country is being overrun. Still many good drivers, but each year see more and more dummies. Some are their own worst enemy. Hence the facing cameras, along with huge insurance claims and payouts. Look at the insurance companies that have dropped commercial vehicles in the last 20-30 years. Many truckers don't even run a face foward dash cam. Why? Who knows? Cost? Cant be cost.

 

I miss the catalog you got to pick something out of for the yearly safety awards. My kitchen knife set came from that like 15 years ago. @LtlAnonymous there's one of the nice lil perks you will never see lol. Now they just give you the green box with the certificate inside.

 

This is actually not true at all. I have had several occasions where the cameras have saved my butt, I don't drive without them. If the company want a camera beside mine I have no problem with it.
Drivers always spout off with I'll quit, hmm, but yet they don't. A good deal of them here online that make such claims are all ready driviing down the road with cameras in the trucks, but want to act like billy bad ###, No one is buying it. You don't have the right to any privacy in the drivers seat of any vehilce driving down the highway, So it just drivers try to sound all big and bad. The loudest ones crumble the quickest, normally.

You don’t know for sure if you never drove with a Drive-cam.

Have you ever hit a dock a little hard. Imagine a safety girl who’s never drove a truck calling you and telling you to be more careful and not to tear up the equipment. And then a few hours later another safety person calling you to discuss a hard brake incident that you had the day before. But you didn’t notice the camera go off, the safety boy just watched the video 30 times and you don’t know what he’s talking about.
Or you’re empty and go to stop at a red light and the truck slows too quick and now you have to discuss another hard braking incident.
And plus the inside camera will never help the truck driver ever.

 

I’ve driven with cameras for five years and have never gotten those calls.

 

I had one beating and bouncing around parking on curbs in a package car and never got a call either.
