ELD makes drivers speed to beat the clock?

Kinda like UPS drivers, and FedEx, and , ABF have been doing forever.

 

How? Carefully and skillfully
I don't speed
I don't have accidents,ever
I'm slow through every construction site
I service my customers on time
I keep stress low
And I make time to have coffee and talk shop at the counter....

And guess what? All this with my paper logs. Go figure....

 

So why can’t people do this on elogs?

 

Maybe some do.....

You Can't!! About your only option is "Adverse Driving Conditions" which can add up to 2 extra hrs of drive time to your clock, but it does not extend the 14 hr day. Sometimes, You 'have' to use PC to 'Safe Haven'

Just curious what kind of driving you do, local, regional, long haul or not at all?
