I worked for the ltl side twice in the past and after 8 months down in the oilfield decided to give OTR a shot. I'll be headed to Fargo for orentation on the ninth. I wanted an Apu and needed a company that would let me bring my mutt with and Magnum fit the bill.

My life was almost complete today. Parked here at loves. Witnessed Trucker Josh pull into the lot. Did u-turn behind the pumps that were full and immediately left. I didn't realize I smelled THAT bad. I watched his videos for years and he's the one who got me interested in trucking in the first place. Didn't get to meet him today

 

Don't want to jinx myself (again) but on track to get back to work late Sep. One more followup with the surgeon then I have to set up a schedule with oncologist. Probably have to go through orientation again but with all the changes, I'll need to catch up. Heck, might even be able to give Mark a break...like that would ever happen. Magnum has been very good to me since I got sick. Hopefully I'll be back in the driver's seat for good! Guessing I'll be back up to Fargo on Sep 22 if I can get everything going ok. Stay safe and keep them turning! If you see any Ready drivers, they will be looking for jobs. Alot if companies going under.

 

Question for you: are we compensated for DOT inspections?

 

Yes if no defects
