The dump truck is getting the bugs worked out of it. Chasing wiring/light stuff and some fuel issues.
Been splitting time between the farm and the shop around the fire department schedule.
I got this delivered this morning. The flat stock is about half of what I needed for an upcoming project for the timber framers next door. I had the rest of it on the rack already.

There's 24 20' sticks of 1-1/2" cold rolled round to thread for draw rods. 8 sets of three rods. 20', 19'7", 20'. We will "clock" and weld the 2 turnbuckles to the center rod.
The 12 1" rods will get one end of the bundle lined up and welded together, then the entire bundle will get cut into 7" long pins. I'll chamfer one end of each pin in the lathe. They need 422 pins for this project.
I've got a pile of plates to drill holes in and weld tabs onto setting on the table right now. I'll get some pics of them tomorrow.

Do any of you have a degree in architectural landscaping? Because i think home depot is looking for someone who can design them an even worse parking lot for big truck navigation.

Its like they mapped it out in solidworks then clicked the "make this difficult for a spread axle" button which scattered all their feel good junk into the perfect geometric location to force the driver, no matter how he approaches, to choose between taking out the shrub, the cart return or the gas grills.

The one lane they did intend for truck traffic is where they keep sheds and trailers full of yard fluffing.

Do you like it? Ours isn’t quite bulletproof but it’s close. It’s easily done over 10,000 acres. One Broken main driveshaft. 1 broken axle. That’s it. The tines are hella tough
