Thanks for the info. I'm going to be doing a bunch of research on the weekend. Since I'm going through Prince George on the way up, I won't be going through Watson Lake, or is the scale west of the intersection of the BC-37 and the YT-1?
I'm probably going to run out of hours somewhere between Dawson Creek and Edmonton. Do you think it would be better to just run it down and get to where I get to, or spread it out and get to recaps on the following Monday?
I'd rather stay in a town like Whitehorse than be stuck for a day up near Nelson River or whatever.
Guess I should maybe think of borrowing a fishing rod and a camp stove too.whoopNride, PoleCrusher, Feedman and 19 others Thank this. -
I'm betting their cheaper'n cheap. But it might be worth a try.
Fireside Minerals I believe is the company.whoopNride, PoleCrusher, Feedman and 18 others Thank this. -
They were emptying out the building on 75th and Roosevelt.
Think the only thing staying put are the turbines.
Two loads being moved every day on an open deck... think it’s gonna take them another month at that rate...PoleCrusher, Zeviander, Feedman and 16 others Thank this. -
I've haven't stopped but there is a lodge/ fuel stop at the 37, Ak highway junction. Teslin,YT has a decent diner and fuel. Whitehorse, Watson Lake and Fort Nelson are the only towns with any real services. Several different Cottage/ Outpost type places scattered around here and there. But if your going to spend any amount of time up there you will want to pack a cooler and get your stuff down south. Prices are crazy high up there.
Beware of the critters on the road in the Laird river valley!

Thanks. Slob works for me. When the truckstop beggars come up asking for pill money i just point to my clothes and say "man i was about to ask you!"
And besides that im barely scraping by so it isnt exactly a choice, i just dont have the means. The kids are fed and loved.. So i figure everyone else can think whatever they want of me. Theres only one judgement im concerned with.Last edited: Sep 18, 2019
