So what is your LTL company paying?

Some locations have been given the green light to start higher because they couldn't keep drivers. Contract is start around 18 then after 90 days I believe goes to over 20.

 

LTL as in city pickups ?

I was getting $1.20 / pickup and another $0.25/cents per pound.

I would average 85-150 pickups per day with roughly 10,000-20,000lbs ( bills would cap out at $500 per pickup )

How many hours?

 

I averaged between 55 and 60.

 

Overtime after 40 or 8?

 

Are you not at a red circle terminal? At my terminal if you don't get out you get paid 37.60 to work the dock.

 

Overtime is after 40. That kinda sucks because that's not what I'm used to but I haven't worked under 40 a week even if I work four days so I'm still getting paid the ot.

 

We have quite a few guys that make more than that at my terminal..

 

Benefits after 60 days. Up to 6% 401k match. The healthcare is good, I pay about$50/week as a smoker for the ppo. If you go with the high deductible plan I think it's like $15/week but I don't understand how any of that spending account stuff works so I went for the better plan.

Some guys at my terminal have an average check of $3,000 per week.

And there are rumors of team drivers that make much more than that.

And I'm still not posting a check. Lol
