Right, @shogun -
Only worth whatever the buyer wants to pay. It’s still a 20 year old truck... -
For anything less than mint, I'd be in the $5-7k range. -
Out here putting lipstick on a pig...

"Truck is low mileage, only has 250k miles on it. It's just getting broken in and it'll last till 1 mil!. Never mind the fact that it's been "upgraded", and I've driven it like a whipped mule the entire time I've had it. Never mind the knock you hear, that's how diesels are!"
My truck is a 2002....
Saw it advertised at one of the local "buy here pay here" dealerships for $14k. Under mileage it said "PLEASE CALL". When they don't want to put the miles in the ad, you know it's got a few on it. I laughed and said "NOPE" and kept looking.
Saw all kinds of diesel Ferds advertised in the area for $14-18k, all with over 200k on the clock. Most you could tell had been given the Brodozer treatment.
Six months later I shopped again and the truck I'd seen first was still at the same dealer, but the price had been cut down to $10k. Then I got a little interested and went and looked at it.
275K miles.
Check engine light on
Dead cylinder.
"You want how much now?"
Talked him down to $8.5k and traded the 200k mile '98 Ram gasser I had for $1500 more off the price. (Transmission in the Ram was losing 1st gear).
Replaced a bad injector for $120 and a tiny bit of my time. -
