We are a pretty mixed terminal, but mostly ground, yes.

Are the sleepers the volume they are pulling off the rail?

 

Yes a ground hub. Just Feeders no package car drivers.
We are the sleeper team epicenter of the country. So it's easy to get on one.

 

Yes most of these sleeper runs were created from pulling loads off the rail.
They aren't finished either. We are on a MAJOR hiring spree.

 

Yes I used to come in there routinely. Best run I had was a layover there. Got there in 5.25 hours and got paid for 10. Went to the William Tell and then to the Bowling Alley. The return leg sometimes was difficult. This was with 10 hour rule. Now they are all turn runs. Big money but not as fun.

There used to be 6-8 of us come up on Fridays. Surprised no body got fired. There may have been some drinking going on once or twice at the Bowling Alley. Top notch breakfast at the hotel too. #### the govt giving us more hours to drive. They ruined a sweet little run.

 

I have seen some things at my other companies over the years that would curl your toes. Guys hanging out in the hotel bar until it was time to go back to the room for their work call. They would drive triples to the first exit on the toll road and take a 2-hour nap. Lol

 

I would carry street clothes, but many came to the bar in Uniform. I never would do that.
