LANDSTAR CAUGHT RED HANDED DOUBLE BROKERING MY LOAD

    How are these guys even still in business. I work for one of the top 10 Brokerages in the US and we refuse to work with landstar because of this. Some guy called on one of my loads asking questions. Seemed funny to me and he went with the okay let me talk to my driver. Asked him who he was with and it caught him off guard and he said landstar. Decide to check the boards 5 minutes later and wouldn't you know it there my load is posted by landstar. The idiot didn't even bother to call me from his cell phone. The same number listed on the post is the number he called me from. LIARS AND THIEFS. JOHN K in Nebraska at LANDSTAR. Maybe next time try and get earn your loads the right way by calling customers and earning the business. Not stealing it from those of us that do.

    Every brokerage has shatbird agents. Nothing new there and Landstar hasn't cornered the market.

    Nice to see nothing has changed at good ole Landstar !!
    I was in there system for close to eight years double brokering is nothing new over there.

    There San Antonio office does this all the time. I got them in trouble once cause they double brokered a load to me. I didn't realize it until the original broker called me to make sure I got loaded and I asked him why he was calling me instead of LS. Oops. Not sorry.

    This is why I haven’t gone to LS already. It would drive me nuts getting screwed and my blood pressure is already borderline.

    Lol I run for great wide and it’s a big problem here as well, none of them do anything to these agents.

    I saw a headline to an article the other day that a broker was sentenced for the illegal act of double brokering. I hope more brokers who pull this get the book thrown at them and are never allowed to broker another load.
