awesome I'm so tired of them loud carrier units. if you hauled one before you'd know what I mean. lol, well them w900 aren't know for good fuel mileage. try keeping it at around 1250 rpm, that should be the sweet spot for that engine. It should have 3.25 rears with 1800 torque 475 hp. Good luck!! I'm home for the weekend, time to come off the road for a few days..woohoo - watched transformers 2 tonite, was a ###### movie, those of yall haven't seen it yet should go see it. :)

Oh oh....the LAST thing I wanted to start was a "conspiracy theory" thought here. Sorry about that! I simply meant the guy, and if you think about it, most of you will know who I am referring to, really suffers from the "I am so important" syndrome.... Do as I say, or I will get you fired. Okay, I will play your game while I am here to make you feel important, and then in 4 days I will leave....

Anyway, life is good again! Hope everyone is making good money and is safe!

I just pulled a new trailer with a Thermo King on it and boy it was quite it had 21 hrs on it when I got it. Pretty trailer shame my truck was dirty.

Actually I was poking fun. I'm the biggest conspiracy theory guy around. I still think the actor Gary Coleman killed Martin Luther King.

Taking my first home time can't beat this 2300 miles for the week in 3 1/2 to 4 days while I'm at home.

Yes, you can log 4300 miles in 1 week legally, however you cannot do it week in and week out you will need a restart in order to not exceed your 70. The only way to not go over your 70 is to log no more than 8.75 hours per day and there is no way you can log 600 miles a day legally in 8.75 hours. There is not a driver out here who can log 4300 miles a week legally there are far too many things out of your control that will prevent this from happening. You can log it legal but to run it legal is not going to happen.

Huh, I was thanking you for the informative post. Because we were all asking if 4300 miles could be done legally week to week. Your experience is plentiful and I would love to learn from you. Thanks again.

I just LOVE all the posts about all the legal runners at JCT. I am not there today because I was told I would not make it there if I insisted on logging legal. When I pushed the issue, I was used for pickup & delivery only, while somebody else pulled the miles & made the money. I have been a driver for many years, & know how to use a log book, but also understand the consequences of misuse. Those of you quitting your jobs to go to JCT, be prepared to throw the HOS rules out the window. Best of luck.

Had to be more to it than that. At a shipper/receiver i do .25 in and .25 out. The rest of the time is either line 1 or line 2. If they have nice facilities i freshen up in the restroom and relax in the lounge. So what's the rest of the story?

I don't know what your problem is. Why would you tell someone to throw out HOS rules. I run just as hard as anyone there, and do NOT have to run on any other rules, then what is spelled out in the HOS. JCT is not the only company out there with log violations. I know some of you old timers out there (1985) have been around the block, and got this driving thing down pat. I didn't get started till 1968, so maybe I should pay attentiom here. Maybe I should just quit JCT, and go to work at McDonalds.
