So are you giving up your pursuit of the Suburban?

It's slow everywhere right now. We have quite a few extra board guys working the dock at night.

Yes. The Smith System. That's a very good system. i would definitely recommend it:

    ALL GOOD KIDS LOVE MILK:

    1) Aim high in steering

    2) Get the big picture

    3) Keep your eyes moving

    4) Leave yourself an out

    5) Make sure they see you
    (using lights, signals etc)

But as importantly, you really need to post yo' checks, baby.

Your recently found disdain for line haul makes me think you’re going back to the city side that’s all.

Well, city can make good $$$ too. Although if i keep getting checks like these, there isn't going to be any suburban or any cars. There will be an electric bike, bus fare, and ridesharing:

    BAD, REALLY BAD. :(

Oh dear drivers, you don't know what financial uncertainty is...............:(

i think what happened was i sat for several days, then the OM/dispatcher was like, you've been sitting for a while, do you want to work city? i was, like YEAH because not only do i need to work, i get to work during the day and sleep at night like you're supposed to.......

Next week's check should be much better coz i worked the whole week.

This is my sleeper team run. Only 3 days a week. Gonna bid off of it the next few weeks. Was able to get a decent brown truck bid. It was a tough decision. Having practically 4 days off a week is awesome. The three days I do work, I'm gone from home and sleeping in a sleeper truck tho.

On paper 4 days off sounds nice, I don’t think I could hack it in real life though.

Although those three days go by slow, I started getting used to it.
Plus those three days consisted of me and my partner running 700+ miles a day each.
But if I had to I could continue doing it. But that's as far as I'd go. Some of these guys run 5-6500 miles every week.
I couldn't do that. No way.
