Sat down in Dennys tonight at the Flying J. Wasnt that busy maybe 10 tables. Ordered hot tea with honey packets. Tea comes takes 3 times of me asking to finally get honey packets.
I sat for 35 minutes waiting on food, my hot tea has been empty for probably 25 minutes or so, I got the impression I'm being ignored, have no clue why? I tip good, never seen these waitress here before in my previous visits?
I got up and looked right at them and walked out. I'm glad they didnt say anything cause I was going to let them have it in front of everyone in the place.
How soon do you guys say enough is enough, get up and walk out?
I don't like asking for the manager or hassling the waiter while waiting in fear of my food getting spit on or something like that.
How soon before walking out?

I just do not have any expectations at a Denny's. At least fast food has a standard fast and craptastic bussines model. The people that eat out in this country now days are brave souls, or just plain ole iron guts.

That s just as bad as the time that me and my wife ate at a Logan s. Our so called waitress was a table away from us, and never bothered to check on us the whole time. We were the only ones in that particular section. She was so busy talking to a man who just walked in and didn t order anything. Needless to say we talked to the manager, explained what happened. He told us it was on her. And we haven t been back to a Logan s since

These places are nasty. Ever been in the back of one? I don't trust them one bit if they aren't at least free standing, surviving. I'm sure some are well run but why take a chance. They can go downhill quickly from one experience to another. Similar to restaurants in hotels.
Intothesunset, JonJon78 and Coffey Thank this. -
Dennys seems to be good or bad depending on location , in my experience. for example, the dennys that was at the J in Peecos Tx, was so bad they finally closed it. But the Dennys at Kingdom City was great last few times I was there. The one at the Gateway in Carthage tx was good too.
Any way, I guess aboot 30 min or so and Im outta there -drvrtech77, bzinger, Intothesunset and 3 others Thank this. -

At the house, and tried an egg nog for the first time in years.
Plain is blah, maybe I'll add some rum for the final verdict but milky stuff and booze don't appeal to me.Intothesunset and Coffey Thank this.
