Question guys, what are they starting drivers with 1 year experience at for their OTR division? Any accessorial pay? Do they still have newish trucks/trailers? Sign on bonus? What's hometime policy, 1 day off for 6 days OTR or something like that? Or better than that?

On page 1 or 2 of this thread it said drivers were starting out at $0.50 per mile and that was 5 years ago in 2014. Wondering what it is now.

Reach out to Tony in recruiting. It is semantics. Starting out at 50 cpm if you hit your bonuses. You'll get your answers here but I strongly suggest just talking to Tony. One phone call and you'll get all the answers you need. But in a nutshell, with 1 year experience, magnum is a great option. Great equipment, great staff, very flexible, good pay and miles, better home time than others.

So work 30 days OTR with no 34 hour resets, get 1 week (7 days) home time. Does that sound about reasonable for this company or no?

you said no hard rules, they don't ever tell you guys "no that's to much hometime?" Like my above example?

They will start you at .47 with ten cents of that being per diem plus the bonuses. Oldest trucks are 2016 but they are quickly going away.

My bonus this month was 467 bucks but I missed all the milage bonuses because I didn't even start orientation until the Monday after the holiday weekend. So basically a bit more than two weeks of actual driving. It should be over 1k next month. I'm already at 8k miles for the month.

Money is decent and the equipment is good here. It's still reefer though.

Dude already can't wrap his mind around it. Sounds like he'll be a future Magnum driver drinking the koolaid. 34s don't count against you. They let you run how you want and leave you alone. Want to run hard to sneak a 34 in? Great. Want to run casual and recap? Cool. Need a day off to get into the shop, they'll help you out. Doesn't count against you. And if you go a day without a load because stuff happens, you get paid for it.

    Should really call Tony.

    Exactly ^^^
27 yrs experience, they are on my short list for a reason. I’d rather run hard and do resets every week if needed.
Also gotta love the fact that they DONT have a set time off policy. Lots of good things here, just hate slow trucks but nothing’s perfect, especially in trucking!
