Ive had a bit of less than stellar job history.
4ish years experience.
Im in Memphis, TN
Started with Werner DG , about 9 months there i got fired for breaking a window after locking keys in truck( didnt know that freighliners auto locked)
Went to Swift a week later, stomached that for 3 months and then drove under my brothers authority for the next 2.5 years. Totaled my truck in GA ( Only i was involved, no citation or anything saying im at fault, i did what my training taught me and i almost died lol ) [Outside the loop in atlana, im in middle lane, slight drizzle coming down, visibility still great but the ground is still wet, and im light. Im in middle lane cruising, came atop a hill and theres a minivan going very slow, slower than the vehicle to my right that im slowly passing. If i would have hit my brakes to slow down enough for their speed, guaranteed that trailer would have came swinging around. I was already going past someone in the right lane, i glanced over to my left and the lane was empty, it was a lane off limits to trucks but it was my safest option. Changed lanes , continued my speed of going past them. Problem was the lane was about to end, when i saw the sign the van was maybe halfway beside me. Now im on the dang rumble strip. In my mind, no problem, slow down and get back on the road once the van passes... annnnnnnd boom, the shoulder runs out, theres a crater about 3 feet deep where the shoulder ends, my truck bounces, hood flies up, i can only see the gap above my hood and i notice im facing the trees, thankfully i got some traction when i steered left and ended up tangled on the wires. drive axles broke, diesel all over the place, insurance totals it out]
After the truck fiasco loads werent so great and i was done with the road after the accident being nervous. Started a concrete job and did that for 7 months. It was hard work, but the problem was, it was concrete, if it rains you dont work, too cold and nobody really wants to pour, too hot and its another slow day. put my two weeks in, got 2 raises but still left. I just felt i could make more, even tho the final raise was for 16 h/r.
Im done with sleeping in trucks and truck stops. I need to be home daily. I dont mind hard work, just as long as it pays like it should. But with my history I don't know who'd have me.
I need job advice....Not hopeful with chances.

Casual drivers usually make more money than full time drivers. Constantly filling in for drivers that have to take a day off or on vacation or some BS reason.
