Worked with a guy few years ago, he had a top secret clearance in the military. Real nice, unassuming guy. He was big on military history. He told me about Chesty one day. I read a book about him awhile back.

I was stalked and captured by many an old cougar in my late 30's. Different experience, similar results.
    Actually occasionally into my 50's.

Ive had several plus a barium process. No worries on the plumbing.

As far as the surgery, they probably will get that blockage, whatever it is. If the cancer has spread then there will be a decision for hospice and Cancer class narcotics to be made to use. Some of it is quite strong. Just remember you have the right to palliative sedation those are the two words to remember. If you ask for that when it's too much for whatever reason, they have to provide it because it is a right. Sometimes people don't know to ask for it. Hospice is generally a certain amount of care per day up to 6 months pending death or survival. Some have survived.

I would hate to learn that it is metasized. You can have a thousand cuts taking it out but the stuff will just run wild.

With luck that bag will be a temporary one. Essentially a bypass until the surgery area heals. Its really good to get the waste out of the system otherwise septis (Filling of the blood with toxins and burn up in fever past 104 becomes a possibility. Thats what killed my mother mentally when the brain burned up several days before pulling plug. Bacteria in her lung system was not detected until it was too late)

Hopefully you have family where you are. And that whatever happens with surgery good or bad, that the family respects your directives if you have not already built a paper with what you want and don't want ahead of time. You want to have that sorted so that there is no fighting. They should be pulling for you as we are here.

Brutal. I am so sorry for you. I hope you can remain strong and resolute in your thought process, and have considered things with a clear mind.

I can only offer you prayers.

Your situation does effect me though. And I am heavy in heart for you.

    Good night all.

I was questioned by the wife about the engine stand I recently bought for the tractor. After giving it some thought I remembered she had given me a harbor freight hydraulic pipe bender about a year ago. With some fabrication, the engine stand will get repurposed into a stand for the pipe bender. Also with some modifications to the frame of the pipe bender I can use it as a much needed hydraulic press. Oh the things one can concoct when one has an active imagination. Tho first I still need to get the engine off of the stand.

    Be safe all.

Just watched a true story about a guy that was convicted of rape in the 90s... 26 years later he was exonerated by DNA evidence that had never been tested, and he was immediately released... Can you imagine doing 26 years for a crime you didnt commit??? Ive done time, and I don't think I could survive 26 years in prison as an innocent man.
