I'm 18, I have a K restriction. What if I leave the state even though I'm not supposed to?
What if I obey traffic laws and avoid accidents?
What would happen if I was caught violating my "K" restriction?

It does not matter. What you did or did not do in your second question does not matter. If you are outside of your state then you will probably have fines against you and your company will also probably have fines against them for sending you out of state.
When you are breaking one law avoiding trouble by not breaking other laws does not matter. You are to stay inside your state lines.
You are intrastate only. I think NYS would be the one that had those.
You have to be 21 or more to have freight that crosses state lines in interstate commerce.Just passing by Thanks this. -

Restriction is there for a reason
Don’t we all try obey traffic laws and try to avoid accidents?Just passing by Thanks this. -
At that point you and your truck would be placed OOS, you'd get a pretty good sized...as in expensive...ticket and you'd wind up wishing you'd never done it.
Not worth the risk.Tb0n3, FlaSwampRat, WesternPlains and 2 others Thank this. -

In My opinion nothing a piece of plastic dosent say hey this person can or cannot drive look at all of these people out here day to day. That being said if caught you getting fines and if ya kill someone you getting manslaughter

Its going to take you a looong time to pay the fines if you get caught, but i got a feelin your going to do it anyways. Soon as you cross the state line you wont even be able to fart without being nervous.

Definitely do not do this. It is not a wise choice.
Also, the fact that Congress is contemplating allowing 18 year olds to get their CDL-A is a bunch of accidents waiting to happen.
Not saying you are not ready for that but be honest with yourself, the majority of 18 year olds have no business being behind the wheel of an 80,000 tractor trailer.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
Should be fine. Go ahead and take your 17 y/o girlfriend with you.
What could go wrong?
