All Female Paving Crew

they'll never make it in this world......lol

 

Oh, get back in the kitchen where you belong,,,, as my grandfather would say. Hey, good for them, however, and I'm "pro chick", but I tire of women wanting special recognition for jobs that they are fully capable of. Truth be known, women that don't want to be a Walmart cashier or health care, there's not a lot of good paying jobs for women, they can turn the handles like any man, always could. I say, what took so long. We never had women on any paving crew I saw, except traffic control. Women paving crews, what's next? The real reason is because they can't find a man today to do that. I only hope their pay is on par with a mans. They didn't say anything about that.

 

Surely a county job,,,

 

Public works projects usually have minority quotas so using an all women crew potentially gives that contractor a competitive edge in bidding over other contractors

 

It would be a hot or cold job. Women worked at the mill in Gary. Had to wear welders type clothing because of the sparks and heat.

 

Great for them , although idk why women are wanting to work hard manual labor jobs. They are not very fun. I think they are trying to prove they can do the job which is great but those jobs are not fun or easy, but as long as i dont have to do it its fine with me . maybe they will go up to indiana and figure out their road crisis out there, women are much smarter than men , maybe thats what indiana needs is a all woman paving crew

 

Its all fun & games until week 3..
