I've had 3 fuel pump failures all about 8 months apart. 2013 dd15 epa 10. Even with warranty help I've still had to pay 1000s not to mention down time.

you mean 3 fuel pump failures on one engine? if yes then most likely fuel system was not good cleaned from debris when first failure happened.

I have learned to replace fuel filter housing when replacing fuel pump. You can never get all of the debris out no matter how much you try to clean it out.

So I have a 2012 Western Star 4900EX with the DD15, had 503,000 miles on truck and engine when it just had a fuel pump failure about 4 weeks ago, not including Down time, it cost me $22,141.02 (with the exception of having a new radiator put in) being this issue is so common in the DD13's&15's has there been any sort of liability claim filed, this is a multi-million dollar issue across the trucking industry and is killing owner/operators like myself, to just get away with. Does anyone have any info on any claims filed against detroit?

no claims are made against Detroit. It's actually not a Detroit part. It's made by Bosch. Pumps are tested and conclusion was that bad quality fuel is causing fuel pumps failures. Do you fuel at cheap places ?

Would anyone know what are some good aftermarket fuel pumps or is OEM the only way to go?
