I still believe that there are a choice few that get all they can handle. How you break into that group?... Your guess is as good as mine.

I need to get some more info on this whole Per diem thing becuase I heard that since they take the 8 cents you can't take your food off your tax's. If anyone here has any info on that I would love to know.

You can't claim the $54 a day for food!

Per Diem sucks and benefits Central.

Fleet wide message just went out...
Central now has a Twitter, Facebook & myspace.

Are you kidding me, they are wasting their time with that crap instead of working on the real problems they need to be deal with?

However there is some good news for the students, they say there are going to be increasing student pay.

Being on the road, we are authorized to claim $54 a day for per diem. If I'm out there and sitting, thereby NOT getting that per diem money. You can be #### sure I'm going to claim it!!!

Will ask my tax guy tho to be sure thats what he did and if its legal.

The per deim you can claim varies state to state! I just went through a major tax course at the beginning of the year. In GA even though they take that 8cpm you can still claim 48 per day on the road to cover the difference it takes you to live out there!

Well latest update from 1bad. He talked to Mr. Issacson (or however you spell it) this morning told him all the crap he has been through the last couple of months. Mr. I said he will make sure he has a truck by the end of the day, Put him back on the Kraft fleet and will make sure he has a load to get him rolling no later than tomorrow morning. He told him about all the detention he has been ripped out of and layovers they wouldn't pay him for and He said that would all be on his next check so we will see next week if that actually happens. That all took place 1st thing this morning. 1bad is having lunch at the cafe then going back to Mr. I to see what the status is. Crossing fingers now!

Jess, Dang you girl I caught your cold just talking to you over the phone. lol , I'm off for a nap I will check in later!
