My 379 with a Wilson 40 ft hopper was 28000 half tanks.

My 359 with same trailer full of fuel is 27500. Mabel has twin 100 gallon tanks the 379 is twin 150's.

Hooked to my spread we are 32800 in the 79 32300 in the 359

 

yes I know it is upside down. My empty weight with my flat deck in...

Quick pit stop in Livingston for some BBQ then continue my slow roll up US 59.. Headed for Mount Vernon got all weekend to get there.

Ok so that gives me a better idea what a 579 would be on a hopper. I was 32500 on it with the spread.

You know I have only seen a few pics of your truck. That dont seem that bad for what you do.
