Yeah there’s a bunch of vegetables raised up there. Campbell soup has a big plant up that way. I saw you were in Leipsic, that was my milk route for years I love that area.

I’m betting you’re going to Steel Technologies. Get off exit 114, go under interstate and loop around and head east to the red light. Bear right, go maybe 1/4 mile to Church road. Make a left on Church and Steel Technologies is on the right not even half a mile.

Far as Mississippi goes, it’s a right to work state so not a lot of Unions. Housing is reasonable, and it is supposed to have one of the lowest costs of living. We’re in the top ten for manufacturing and always have a good load to truck ratio so rates are good out of here. I just like Bolivar, Tenn because it still has that old town feel to it.

Theres no state tax on w2 wages but there is on capital gains, self employment and so forth. Sales tax is nearly 10% .. property tax and land cost is the biggest savings compared to most places. Wages are pretty low in the rural parts and meth related petty crime is a huge problem.

It was for sale out by the road, but the sign is gone now. We had one just like it on the farm. Dodge Cabover, ours was a 1941 model with a A frame poles on the back. Flathead 6 with a 4 spd.

Ok, that makes sense....will have to tell my wife to look up the Campbells plant, that is her maiden name and we have/do scour area secondhand stores for Campbells "stuff" and we have a metric ton of it believe me! Campbells is pretty stringent with their licensing rights so it's not as populated as you might think. And, to be honest some things she got for a song are worth way more once getting it home and researching so it's kind of fun.

Delivered cabinet lumber around that whole area of tn and bolivar is definitely a really nice little town. That whole little section between memphis and Jackson has quite a few quaint little towns.
