Fuel is listed. He might not have a truck payment. Health insurance sucks yes. But as far as taxes goes he has a HUGE advantage if he is an s corp. He can put waaaaay more in a solo 401k with a s corp than a self proprietor. Maintenance 300 bucks a week and all the other bs I'd say 3 or 400 a week maybe. Now his trailer ain't no joke. But I'm looking into something more simple in flat or step. I've had my own truck before that was paid for but I pulled containers and the pay wasnt good. Iij didnt know I was waaaaay greener than I am now.

    Revenue is listed. Expenses aren't.

Maint. Can be way higher then $300 a week.

One truck I drove spent $10g in 2 months for a electric wire issue.

I am not trying to talk anyone in or out as I don’t care what someone else does, but it can be done. My opinion had always been if you like your job and make nearly $100,000 keep working a job. If you don’t like it and have some sense and the desire to try it, go for it. I did not do it for the money, I wanted a change. The money came along in time, but money is not my top priority in life and hasn’t been in many years. 1950D340-D83B-402C-8465-F8F8CC4B9D4A.png

I would 100% stay running local with FedEx. O/O is a rat race that continues to get worse. Way to many trucks out here competing for the same freight.

You'll come out further ahead in the end with where your at now.

Dont believe all the big numbers you read on here either...

I "see" vans all over too. But I "talk" to the flatbedders because I'm a flatbedder and I load/unload at the same places they do.

Stay where you are at. Do not discard or throw away the possibilites you specifically mentioned. You are going upwards into prosperity. Dont screw that up royally by doing something stupid.

DO find a activity you enjoy very much and soak in it asap. Most people go for women, drinking and fishing. But try to find something that fulfills your craving to get awayt from your mindless job. No disrespect intended at all. But that job is if allowed to, rot you so bad... and then you throw it all away for nothing.

I did that once in my life. Never again. And the nothing still stands LMFAO //sarcasm.
