    We didn’t get cable until the early 80s. Before that, it was ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, and 1 independent channel. The independent showed all the cool stuff, like Shock Theater, StarTrek, and Dark Shadows on Saturday night, and the violent cartoons and the Stooges for the after school crowd.

    I think all the TV stations went off at midnight.

    I think it was 88 or 89 when we got satellite. ......but we lived out in the sticks.

    Lucky! We had that dang aluminum antenna on the roof with only 2 channels up until about 2000 lol. I got Looney Tunes on Saturday mornings so life was good. We never even got a computer or internet until about 2004!
