So I picked up a load of Frozen food stuff yesterday for delivery to a Walmart DC. It appears that a pallet of frozen cheese pizzas was on my truck that wasn't on the order. So as I'm checking out the shipping manager says to me that I should probably keep my reefer running because they had to leave a pallet on my truck that they didn't want, and it was up to me to dispose of it. I'm thinking, oh that's just great. I climb up in my trailer to find 18 cases of large DiGiorno frozen cheese pizzas. I've never had this happen before, and normally it would be cool if the product wasn't frozen, but what the heck can I do with an entire pallet of frozen pizza? I doubt if a food bank will take frozen goods. Maybe an ad on Craigslist selling them for $2.00 a piece?
