More states then CA can inspect the trucks. The bigger question is why put urself a more of a risk? When you start removing parts from a truck thats when u bring more attention to ur truck.[/QUOTE]

PA busted a bunch of people a while back, including major fines to a shop that was doing the deletes, it was big news here for a short time.

Yep. Whole lotta people still think the def system is a cali thing. Cali law is about year of the truck based on which emmissions standard it meets. Those standards are federal law and is a federal offense to be caught modifying it.

Maybe, but "real truckers" know laws are made to be broken, right?

They must be having trouble covering those 1.47/mi loads I was talking about, now they've raised the rate to 1.48 !!!

Driver may hurt the motor now but the increased power won't hurt the motor at all.

If the power was turned up only in the programming without the correct injectors and pistons, the spray pattern will be wrong.

You are talking about an improper spray pattern causing predetonation. You would know the moment you started it. As for pistons, he only went to 625. You really don't need to worry about upgrading pistons until you get over 750.
