Where is everyone #5

Speaking of cracked Cats...this is a NXS engine. Cracked block...any of you guys dealt with one like this before?

Guy that owns it wants to buy a block and move the internals over.

 

Switching blocks is what I'm doing with my other truck....now to just get it done.

 

Ya know, I try and have sympathy for the homeless folks. Then one of the pricks tries to steal the propane tank off the BBQ and you quickly remember why you donate your time and money exclusively to the local animal shelter. At least dogs and cats don't try and screw you over.

At least my tank was empty and they left it on my deck when they realized that lol.

 

By far one of my all time favorites. Some may recall this on The cover of hot rod magazine years back.

 

Had some nice 3/8" galvanized cable slings in the back of my pickup. Locked all my #### down on my deck. Hopefully they stay away cause I really don't feel like taking up batting practice during the winter lol.

 

Spent $445 at the local Ford dealership this past Saturday. All we did was drive it home. Wife gets in it today and there’s grinding and all kinds of great noises. I just want one break.

 

Seen that at MATS couple years ago....

 

Haven't dealt with one in that location but our local welding shop has done a couple blocks for us. That looks totally repairable.
Had an isx that snapped off a 4'' by 6'' corner where the bolts go in for the front engine mount(it was in an accident). Pulled the engine and sent it over, they welded the block back together, taped the holes and we put it back in the truck. That would have been 4 or so years ago. For a competent welder it shouldn't be too big of an issue
