Made better by the fact that other Swift trucks like to park across from the docks. I've had to blindside every load to that store.

Well, hopefully I can T-call this load tomorrow and not deal with the nightmares.

I hate when drivers pull that crap. I rarely have extra room to manuver as is.

I'm sure Jonestown will have something you could pick up for the Walmart blitz out of the DC in Williamsburg. They're crazy this time of year.

    Sure.
I really want to get back to my part of the country, right in the middle.

Getting stuck in the east or west coast is what I hate.

    FerrissWheel Thanks this.

    Ontario or at the loves.
Delivered to walmart in grantsville ut this morning.
Then ran over to west valley terminal to get this load.
    Running on recaps.
Could have made it to the truckstops in baker city or but needed a shower so stopped here.
Have 2hr45m for tomorrow and would have liked to get over cabbage to that casino in Pendleton but it's 164 miles from here. Even if I edited some onduty time today wouldn't give me enough time due to having to do a pretrip.
Chance of snow tomorrow and thru to Friday.
Thinking about doing a 34 here and driving the 390 miles on Tuesday. Appt is for 0200 on weds in Tualatin or.

dwells40, FerrissWheel and Rugerfan Thank this.

Curious, how much time do they expect a company driver to log for their pre-trip?

    dptrucker and FerrissWheel Thank this.

Yeah,15 was what i was told years ago, and thats what i had heard from driver development when disscussing one of my students logs.

Its a hold over from the days of paper. Truth is you could log less, but 15 became the arbitrary standard since 15minutes was the minnimum on paper.

    dwells40 Thanks this.

I normally do 15 minutes but will occasionally do 10 minutes. But no less than 10 minutes.
