Well, that went about as good as I expected it to go. To give a heads up, I was missing one week of training pay from Central. I checked my Comdata card yesterday and today. Nothing. I went down to Central and I am not in the system. I understand that. I left my trainer's truck and told them I would not be back. I did however expect to be paid the training pay for the little over 2 weeks that I was out. I got the first weeks pay but that was it. I'm not going to go into details about who and what. I took my drivers journal and weekly recap with me. I was told to leave or the police would be called. I was no longer an employee and I was trespassing on company property. I left. It was not worth getting arrested for. What about the principle of the whole thing? How about getting a lawyer? Not worth it.
This is about as bad of an experience as I have had in my entire life but I am going to end it on a positive note.

I know I am probably forgetting some people so I will say thank you to everybody who has given me advice/guidance.
Good luck to all and bless you all for what you do.

Maybe things would have worked out better if you had off let them know the problem with the trainer straight away!

They would have put you with another trainer.......But hindsight is a wonderful thing!

Good luck with the new Job!

Central has changed a lot in the last year and not for the better, one student leaves and there are twenty to take his or her place.

Lets hope the economy springs back and soon because otherwise come January to April there will be a lot of Central drivers getting less then 1000 miles a week in the slow months for freight.:biggrin_2552:

I would have called the cops and then waited just outside the property for them to show up! That's just wrong!

i think i would rather be in a slump making $18 then out on the road making waht im making right now. Its just a really bad time for trucking right now. Any body know what happens to a driver that has a cargo theft? just wondering?

yay 400 pages and going strong.

I'd rather be driving than a desk job. But i am making money at a desk this fall.

Shouldn't be a problem if the driver had the doors padlocked!
