It's working real good. I need to rig up some shocks on it for running empty. Loaded it's smooth as silk, but empty it'll get to bouncing.
The next project is a set of rollers so I can jump it on the truck frame rails when empty.

How are you measuring wheelbase? I don’t think you could even get a 70” sleeper on a 210” wheelbase frame. What was your wheelbase?

Oxbow and Tug Toy Thank this.

Those arent my trucks. I just remember from when I was shopping for trucks. My 780 was 231.
    Heres a 670, with a 70" high top, on a 213 wb

Lord no, but even before I added the headache rack and side boxes, she was still almost 4k heavier.
Scale weight from factory was 18,867.
    Volvo was 15,133.
The two trucks are night and day.

    alds Thanks this.

That Pete is NOT 206”. I’m dead in the water so looked it up. On a 386 with a 70 bunk the distance from the centerline of the front axle to the back of the sleeper is 149.1”. It has 11R22.5 which have a diameter of 40.5”, assuming a 52” drive spread the distance from center of bogie to the front of the front drive tire would be 46”. So 46” plus 149” is 195”, so for that to be true there would only be 10” from the drive tire to the back of the bunk. There’s a lot more than 10” from the bunk to the tires. Not sure about the Volvo I can’t find the dimensions, it might be 216” I can’t tell.
