Swift - Syracuse, NY

Sent my recruiter an e-mail this morning and received a reply within the hour. I start orientation in columbus, ohio on august 4th. Wish me luck!!

 

I also don't have a laptop, my recruiter told me to feel free to contact her anyway that was convient. She said if i email and she was out of the office it gets forwarded to her blackberry cell. I have called and left messages as well but the email usually is a little quicker. She is really great as far as not leaving me hang wondering if she is going to call. I have always heard back the same day....good luck to you as well bill.

 

Got a hold of mine today, told me im still on the waiting list me and another person...said he would see what he could do for me....i wont hold my breath

 

Also got an update for Aug 4th. So I guess I will see you guys there.
I am sure they will have us at the Ritz on Monday HA!

I guess a bus ride is the venue from Derry, NH? PHHT! Oh well, Wish I could bum a ride out to Syracuse vs. being stuck on a bus.....looks like we will spend enough of our time on the road, why add to it.

I went back to the school this past weekend and got an hour on the road. Phew! was I rusty...got my ticket Dec last year. After 15 minutes of making filings in the tranny, I got my timing back. Although, I did not bother with any backing maneuvers. Should be a bit different from the day trucks and the 40 footers to the full size machines. I got 1 hour in a full size rig.

 

Man what a drag
I am suppose to call tomorrow to finalize. Maybe I will get stiffed too...ya never know?

wow!! things are different here, my home terminal is Edwardsville, KS and as soon as my field training complete and the road test at the highway patrol passed, we files the paperworks and had my date right away for orientation...

hopefully things will be the same for going out there with my mentor
