You could not send scrips for narcotics electronically at all. It has to be a hand delivered by the patient with notary and assorted security features such as that neon colored paper that annouces to the world what you have walking around the parking lot with it. (I hide that #### thing...)

There are several layers to the problem Generally PMB, Pharmacy Monitoring Board. It usually alerts the hell out of them when someone is fixing to fill a script of narcotics knowing their history of problems for example.

So thats out. Particularly for Pot, It is a Schedule one drug, meaning there is no medical value to that stuff. Same treatment as say... Angel Dust, PCP etc. Mind breaking drugs. That lies with the DEA and will remain so until its removed from Schedule one someday.

And every time you get a script from a doctor in paper for whatever... that particular doctor's DEA number is on there. So he will have some 'splaining to do.... (Unless you have a Pot Medical Card...)

A few of you would ask why I get a med pot card when no medical value by feds? Well thats where the states sovereignty comes in. However due to particular laws the Feds can come into our state or any state at any time and strip that entire situation and burn it to the ground arresting everyone. If they wanted to. Be prohibition 20's all over again with bootlegging etc.

So now all of your wisdom filled contributions will make many of you guilty as hell for conspiracy ( separate crime all unto itself ). Probably plead it down to accessory, or accessory after the fact.

Consequences is severe for transporting it across state lines . that is a federel offense classified as traffiking drugs . best thing is to get a medical card if they are legal in texas. U would be much better going to some shady pot doc and getting a card that way . we have them all over arizona. Tell them ur an equipment operator and it has messed up your back real good and u suffer from lots of back pain.

I dont keep up with a lot of the laws on this because I dont use illegal drugs but I think Louisiana just passed a law allowing medical MJ. An option would be to get her to a Dr in Louisiana. Again, I dont know cause I dont keep up with this in detail.
I think Arkansas also legalized MJ use last year or earlier this year. You might check on some of these things.

I think if I was in this situation, I'd consult an attorney & see what advice or suggestions he would have.

Good luck. Hope your mom finds a solution & gets back to her previous state of health. Best wishes.

In Arkansas the election general four years ago we voted to legalize MJ.

    Short version.

The State had to bulldoze MJ laws that take people to jail, then build everything from scratch. Including a MJ Board. 32 areas were selected for grow sites. Dispensaries were selected no closer than 5 miles apart. Each business engaged in grow, sales of MJ had to put up like a 750,000 cash bond to compete for license to do MJ in Arkansas.

The first 15 doctors permitted by the State Board to prescribe MJ against DEA went to a hotel in little rock, about 4000 people showed up hoping to score a Pot Card Prescription. They had to wait a year for the pot cards.

Last year summer the first two dispensaries opened. They got mobbed by the whole state sold out in several days with millions in revenue. Just from the Medical Pot Card holders.

In Arkansas in order to get a pot card you needed to be officially diagnosed with like 6 medical conditions. Anything else like common ache and pain does not do it. That means you are pretty sick as it is.

FINALLY the state just finished working through the MJ Dispensaries because its a cash business. NOT insurance anywhere. NO insurance will cover a #### thing of this business. Its illegal for them actually.

Its still a evolving situation here with MJ. Not settled yet.

One other thing. No one knew when they legalized it in election as written, but when you get a pot card, you also recieved a bar against being able to buy firearms. You will fail the background and given a no sale by the ATF to the Gun store and told to go away. That stands for life pending your continued use of MJ with a pot card. It also potentially affects your license to carry among other problems.

Stoners get the munchies. I hear there's stoners everywhere hence there must be pot available everywhere. (To LEO reading this, I read it in the internet. Not my personal experience).

even medical weed has "no value"..??

i am not familiar with the chain of custody for scripts, being sent electronically or in person these days. back in the "olden days", a doctor wrote you up a script and you took it to the pharmacy.

Cdl is federal. If you have a cdl, there is no state to state legally. Get caught smoking it or caught holding it, your toast
