This is the modern day harem. If you’re out with your buddies prowling and looking for action, which they were, this is probably one of the worst things that you can do.

 

I was just looking through #4 the other day. It’s like a beautiful story that ends tragically.

 

Kind of sad that a good percentage of younger folks don’t have memories like this— Grandpa was a trapper as well and had a wicked sense of humor— passed it down to me and I do what I can with my kids

 

#5 is nothing compared to #4

A good friend of mine has a 2 year old grandson. He was ‘wrastling’ and playing around with his grandson when his daughter reprimanded him for “teaching her son to be violent.” I got reprimanded when my nephew was starting middle school and his mom was worried about him being bullied and committing suicide, and I had him put on the gloves and head gear. “I don’t want my child to be violent!” I tried to explain to her that if ever bullied, all he has to do one time in his life is cut loose, and no one will ever bother him in life. So, she doesn’t want him hanging around me. Fine. I hope you understand that you’re teaching your son to be worthless. He is a BOY, not a child.

Would you believe that she called me one night scared that someone was outside of her house?
