It's rediculous! The stuff they whine about. Drivers not waving..etc etc. I have yet to post anything on there.

at the end of the day. they dont want you on the phone. the phone policy tells you that. you can get termed if theres a injury or death. even under 10 min. the the following have no time frame. school zone, work zone, bad weather, rush hour traffic. you get caught on the phone then and your toast.

And.....to add to that list, don’t call the DC or the ROC while you’re driving. Gotta be stopped for that call.

If it did, i would have been fired a long time ago. I cuss at the camera to avoid cussing at motorists. Keeps my sanity.

I was told that the camera does record audio, but the files go to a third party company, and if it was set off for something like rough terrain, or something that isn’t safety related, they done even send it to Walmart. He also told me that they don’t mind profanity As long as we don’t say anything racist, or something along those lines, we’ll be fine. Lol.

There's no telling. Maybe they aren't activated. I've noticed tape over some of the inward facing cameras, and even a piece of cardboard over the camera on the PeopleNet tablet. At a previous employer, I saw what looked to be a wad of gum on a camera covering what I would imagine was the microphone. lol. People are creative.

As long as you don't cover the forward facing camera, you can cover the rear facing one and peoplenet as long as the adhesive doesn't damage the lens.

richardc, T.Rucker and truckdriver31 Thank this.
