Are you guys ready for the 17th?

We are still seeing a lot of AOBRDs and ELDs that are not communicating with the ECM.

My company transitioned our units to full ELD over the past month. Not happy about it though. Trying to 'truck' 100% legal is a real challenge if one is trying to do trucking to make money. One good thing about running 100% legal is that the truck sure does get its full rest breaks in whether they be 30 minutes, 8 hours or 10 hours or 34 hours etc lol

We've had them for over a year, it's been an experience, and this company never sold the AOBRD. Funny how when they started supplying data, they started following the rules better, not perfect. But better.

Are you ready for the 8 day per month exemption we all use over and over again?

We transitioned a few weeks ago. They forgot to tell us so a few found themselves on drive time just moving the truck in the yard. :)

We've been on them for a month or so. First time I used paper in the last 3 years after it had it's EPIC meltdown when the time changed.

I thought you always did things 100% by the book. You mean you used the leeway in your AOBRD to not log 100% correct? Frankly I’m shocked.

I’ve been on ELD since January as that was when I bought my truck and Keep Truckin ELD.

I like eld better than aobrd. I used to always get in trouble cuz aobrd would only log 5 minute increments , nothing less. So if i stop to check my straps snd it takes 3 mins, it wont log it. Same thing with fuel. Eld records to the second
