I called Prime and they aren’t currently hiring out of FL but said they would call me when that changes, Florida Beauty said I needed more experience, Stevens said no out of FL even though the school in Tampa recruits for them and Stevens has ads all over Craigslist and Windy Hill is an option. I’m supposed to go over there next week and do a road test, physical and drug test. I just got a weird feeling talking to the recruiter but I’m still going to go check it out. He said I may not be able to get with a trainer for a month or so.

The CRST gig sounds way to good to be true. 40 cpm to me even at 3500 miles is 1400 bucks. That may make team driving worth it.

I imagine the holidays and freight being slow is the problem. CRST is mostly team if I were going to team I would look at FFE.

Called FFE as well. They said that since Prime is not technically a school and I have no certificate of completion, they can’t hire me until I get more experience. I called Prime and they told me the same thing, they don’t give out certs of completion because they aren’t a school.

Better make sure that .40 isn't split.
I doubt CRST is giving a new driver $1400 to drive 3500 miles.

    I bet it's $700.

    I've been wrong b4.

The .40 may just be the miles YOU drive. So 1750 of those 3500.
And a team op can do a ton more than 3500.
Efficiently run they can do 7000.

I also just realized the miles she told me are split between the 2 drivers, duuuhhh. That makes way more sense.

Yes, I believe that is definitely how it works. The miles are split so I’m paid for half. 3500 is #### for a team.

Where are you from you could also go to the packing house or juice plants and just sit and watch who's name is on the door or even look at pulling dry fertilizer

Have you looked at local beer and soda distributors? Maybe @FlaSwampRat knows of something. He lives in the area.
