Is there anyone out there hiring a driver with a clean MVR. but, Pretty much only local exPerience (Coke, and currently a Moving comPany). I am out of L.A. Ca.
P.S. I have been over the road but, only within california. -
I know for certain that DWI's are on there for 10 years, and most accidents about 5 to 7 years.
I still think you may have a problem with the wreckless driving citation, as that is common plea bargain that drivers are offered in cases where the DWI is a little sticky for the DA to prosecute.
Get something in writing from the court, would be my advice, so you can prove you were not a DWI. -
Moving coke pays well, but its too risky for me. -

has to remove the DWI or other driving related conviction from ones driving records?
I am just not so sure that is accurate information, since it involves two separate government agencies: the superior court of the county it occured in, vs. the Dept. of Motor Vehicles.
Do you have a link or any other collaborating evidence of this as a fact? -
Hey M... Outta school in 3 weeks,,,56 yrs old ex, maintenance dept manager. Wanna truck,,and make money,,be home when I can with family. Live in North Central Alabama,,40 miles north of Bham.. Whats available

I could give you links all day, but I would not want to be liable for telling you something that generally is true albiet different in your unique situation. Every case and every county and every judge acts differently.
I would say that you are probably looking at some time before you can put the DUI behind you. I think that it would be best to find an employer that is willing to listen to your explaination, if there is one. -
If that is what you are offering, I would say your success would depend on how much money you have to invest. If you want to jump into trucking in this economic climate with NO experience or industry insiders to mentor you and hook you up, it will dpend on how much money your interested in losing.
I would suggest staying away from lease/purchase programs for major companies. You'll end up making less than an OO, which could mean ($400)/week. -
I have almost 6 yrs exp, clean mvr, no tickets in the past 4 yrs, no arrests or charges need to work, and i'm not really worried about hometime just need a job that pays. Might move back to tn if I can't get something going here, Still need drivers?
