We are off till day after Christmas. I have to deliver a load in the morning then come back home. We usually stay out a month then take a few days off.

Congrats on the new tractor! In the beginning the alarm sensor will be annoying but you will get used to it. Nothing beats being in a brand new equipment. Only major issue I have had with these trucks was the apu but beside that everything runs fine and just keep up with the PM.

That’s nice. How’s that team driving working out for y’all? I heard they bump the trucks up to 68 for team drivers.

It's ok. I don't sleep very well ya lot of times when the truck is rollin so for me it's kinda like outlaw trucking back in the day cuz a lot of the time i feel like I'm a runnin my **** in the dirt. Our last truck was set at 68. I plan to ask tomorrow if this one will be bumped up or not.

I was surprised they took us out of 1098. It only had 270000 in it. They made such a big deal about it being a team truck needin the miles run off of it when they gave it to us in july.i was perfectly happy with 1027.

Was 1098 one of the D13s or was it a 760? I just broke 300,000 miles in 1024

1027 was a 670 / 1098 was a 760. There was a team in 1098 but they stopped teaming so they put us in it to finish off the miles on it. The team trucks are on shorter lease an warranty plans then the solo trucks. We got 1027 when it had 20000 miles on it. Had around 300000 on it when we got into 1098. They all have the D-13 motor.

Ahhhhh ok I got you....do they swap them.out at 500000 miles? One of the guys in the shop indicated that they considered a truck with that much mileage was an old truck
