I don’t see a reason for stopping at scales bobtail and I never do and never had an issue

I believe you can get temporary insurance and that’s only only if you want to be safe.
If not then buy the truck hop in and go

How long was the process to get IRP plates ?

 

You actaully paid sales tax? Bought my truck in tulsa OK, at the dealership they had an officer come out and I had the officer fill out the vin verifaction. I then faxed that to
Reliable Registration Services in lathrop. Wife next mailed my irp and ifta to me the next day. You dont have to pay sales tax in California on trucks

 

If you go to a 3rd party place and have all your paperwork you walk out with your plates
