    I am a recent CDL school grad looking for my 1st driving job. I would like to land a local / home daily job. I am willing to drive any type of truck EXCEPT flatbed. I have Tanker, Doubles-Triples & HAZMAT endorsements. And, I am located in Atlanta, GA. (I am also willing to relocate anywhere in the continental U.S. for the right job.)

    So, that being said, I am looking for suggestions for companies that hire recent CDL school grads with no experience - and that offer LOCAL - Home daily positions?

    YRC Holland in Atlanta hires new cdl school grads and puts them through "driver trainee" program.
    Teamsters union outfit. Best to apply in person; a phone call won't do it.

    You may or may not of noticed...but start paying attention to your surroundings. Look for day cab tractors and write down their names. Drive around your area...shopping malls, industrial complexes, etc. and research the names of the companies you wrote down. Or go on Indeed.com and punch in "local truck driver" for Atlanta GA. Good luck.
