I finally got a bid run this year, and it completely changed my life.
I never had a bid run across three different companies. This is literally my first bid since I started LTL in 2007.
And I know I was getting close to a bid after 5 years at ABF, but by then I was so burned out and hated that place so much... It was worth it just to get out of there.
So what is your LTL company paying?

And people wonder why I'm crazy. Lol I guess it has a lot to do with being on-call for 12 years.
USMC 3531, Bob Dobalina, MACK E-6 and 1 other person Thank this. -
You’re a better man than I to be able to tolerate being call for that long.
McUzi, Cardfan89 and LtlAnonymous Thank this. -
I don't know if "better" is the word. Lol
I was really happy at Yellow. I was sad to see them go, and sad to see what they became by the time I got called back to work after being laid off.
ABF was a long-term port in the storm.
And now if everything goes right, I will just retire from here. It's taken a long time to get here. -
LtlAnonymous and McUzi Thank this.

USMC 3531 Thanks this.

My final numbers. I took it easy the last few weeks for peak season. The mental break was worth it. -
