    A couple weeks ago I sent letters to TQL, and Coyote cancelling my agreements with them. All of their broker agreements said that the contract can be withdrawn by either party in writing, so that's what I did. Their loads pay crap, they don't pay TONU or detention. All they ever do is call me to see if I'm available right now to pick up a load 2,000 miles from my current location, and pay me like $1.5 per mile. Who needs that kind of crap?

    Rideandrepair, PPDCT and Mattflat362 Thank this.

    Funny, cause my highest paying loads are from Coyote, but you gotta be in the right place at the right time. Coyote is much better than TQL

    Perfect.

    @LondRanger, what you said is spot on too. I used them at first, in fact my first load was TQL. I'll never forget it. They gave me a good run on a Saturday and I was happy to move the truck.

    Now, 2 years later? I won't touch them.

    Rideandrepair and PPDCT Thank this.

    We deal with them, but we don't take scraps. We also don't screw drivers that take loads from us and they are due a TONU or detention.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

    Agreed;
    Unfortunately, I would also say that the attitude of brown nosing applies to the typical American worker across the board, regardless of the type of employment. Acceptance of whatever a company decides to pay is accepted without question, along with whatever demands are put upon workers.

    ‘These Colors don’t Run’ and ‘America; Land of the Free’ don’t seem to matter much when the possible loss of a job could be at stake.

    I had a load posted on a backwater load board. TQL called me about it. I humored the guy (we don't double-broker) and when he gave me his email it was not the name he introduced himself as. Yea, nah. Not on the worst of days would I ever dial their number.
