I have a 2000 Volvo with detroit. Is there anyway to disable the low voltage disconnect on this truck? It kicks in before the APU has a chance to fire up. It starts alarming just when the Apu is starting it's warmup process. My alternator died and it cut off my headlights and dash cluster preventing me from limping to the dealership. 2nd issue I have is the boost sensor is tossing a code mid 128 pid102 fmi3. Says it has an electrical fault.

Oh. My boost guage bounces around like a metronome. There is no fluctuation in the sound of the turbo associated with the guage indication.

If you lower the middle panel under the dash by the hood release latch, the LVD is mounted on a bracket with one or two red positive battery cables attached to it.

You will need to disconnect the cable from the LVD.
