I filed my 2290 with 2290filing.com and the 9.99 they are advertising online turned into 85 bucks ok that was a bait and switch but it's the 3 days later another charge for 99.99
Called the phone for the support they billed me for No answer email is so far the same
Just fyi so you folks don't run into the same

Unless you are filing for the first time on this truck (renewal) you will be paying a pretty hefty penalty and interest, as it was due by August 31 if I'm not mistaken. That could be the reason for the extra $$$$.

You can do it for free. I do. I use snail mail but you can sign up for e-file if you're smart enough, I'm not so I have to use the mail. SMH

All you do is dowload the forms from the irs website write the check out send iit in nice and simple

But there is way to do it 100% electronically, including the payment, which is electronically deducted from your bank account. This is where I get stumped. But I'm really ok with that because giving the government access to my bank account rubs me the wrong way!kemosabi49 Thanks this.
