I finally left Roehl after 2.5 years for better home time. I got my liscense there only drove their rucks obviously. I started with my new company ( pretty small 50 truck operation) on Monday and they bought a new to them used w900l. I rode down in a pickup from northern michigan to holland to pick it up. I rode back bobtail. I love the truck, it was the dealers show truck from last year.
I guess my question is any advice? This thing turns like an ocean frieghter and i need to adjust the mirrors more all i see is 7" stack. I haven't hooked to a trailer yet. Its being letterd today. I mean i was in Roehl's heavy haul division ive been 220' long overall been like 20ft wide. I just dont want to hit anything i see myself getting out a billion times while backing up. I guess it will just take getting used to

It takes a little time to get used to it.
Wait till you discover the little joys like the morning sun bouncing off the hood into your eyes!
My biggest problem was driving in the center of the lane - A T2000 has you sitting further out from center of truck - in a Pete you’re more in the middle. -
You’ll get used to it and it will become second nature. The bad part is parking at a truckstop your hood will be a target, which is why if there was a spot where I could nose in I usually would. I’d rather have them hit the trailer than the the truck.
That’s a nice looking truck. Enjoy it! -
Thanks on the truck it is really nice I'm still stunned. They bought this truck for me, asked me what i wanted. Im a really easy guy to please i told them whatever they had i would drive as being home every weekend was worth it. I liked my International LT at Roehl i mean it wasnt a show truck but i like to take of my equipment a lil' ride in my ride.
And yes I've hauled Thomas and Percy multiple times i will miss that.

Be careful with your passenger side hood area. You got a hell of a blind spot now since it doesn’t have a hood mirror.
