I'll tell you, as long as that ECM number is in range, forget that number. It's never correct to me. Mechanical gauge or check with inferred gun.
Just wanna see that ecm number in its operating range. When it says it -85 and its 50 outside. That's a problem. Your shaker should be a mechanical gauge. Unless someone special ordered electric. Or its after 2003 or so. But even mechanical gauges wear out.
On a side note. I'm looking for aftermarket speedo and tach for my shaker if anyone has ideas. I have put most Autometer gauges in the rest of the holes.

singlescrewshaker and 1951 ford Thank this. -
I see mostly walking floors and dump buckets delivering bulk feed with an occasional hopper here and there. Obviously milk tankers are in and out daily. Most of these places I go have so many cows they milk 24/7 it’s non stop process. Trucks are in and out all day and all night.
Cant speak for hauling cows on or off the farms Ive only hauled kill cows from the auctions to the slaughter house.
Hope that helps a little.SL3406, OLDSKOOLERnWV, PoleCrusher and 7 others Thank this. -

But to go out there for 1 trip? The last time I took a load to Vegas, the load paid $10grand. Lost a wheel seal, cooked the bearings, and exploded a steer tire out in the middle of west Texas. Roadside repair cost $2800. Add in fuel costs and you’ll realize that $10g’s isn’t being obscene, it’s being safe. Well, for me at least.
Empty, I am 45000 lbs. That cuts me out of the majority of the cheap loads. But pulling cheap freight is like being a pimped out streetwalker. You do ALL the work and someone else makes all the money. Makes you feel dirty and violated.SL3406, Lostkeys, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 11 others Thank this.
