Where's u tankers loading at this morning

A couple months ago we had a new guy getting trained on bleach straddle the 2 inch discharge hose and unhook it while it was under pressure. My buddy was training him. Have no idea why he did it. New guy was a 23 year old, and always in a hurry.

 

Which idiot designed fill lines next to eachother for chems like that? I don't care how many tables they put on it, mistakes happen and should be accounted in design

 

Loaded ferric chloride in St. Paul, headed to Ft. Pierre, SD

Headed back to St. Paul to load potassium hydroxide to take back to Mandan.

Do you just haul a fiberglass lined trailer? Or do you mix it up some?

 

I pull different ones. I switched from an FRP to an insulated stainless for potassium hydroxide. We can haul it in an FRP, but the stainless was in service for this stuff already. We have a customer in the cities that let's us park a few trailers in their yard, so it works out.

 

No tanker today. 53 foot van loading water treatment chemicals in Minneapolis headed back to ND.
